Jason Wayne Jenkins was born May 3, 1976….on June 20, 1999, Jason passed from this life. He is now in Heaven with our Lord because at the age of nine, he asked Jesus to be his Savior.

Jason grew up here on our family farm. He was a cowboy all of his life. He rode horses and worked cattle with his family. As a young boy, he showed club calves in the Etowah County 4H program. He played football and basketball during his junior and senior high school years. He was voted All-County and All-State in football. He attended Auburn University and while there started competing in rodeo events riding bulls and bareback broncs. After graduating from Auburn in June of 1998 with a degree in Animal-Dairy Science, Jason returned home to work on the family farm. It is in his memory that we try to carry on….
